Since beginning my weight loss journey, my life has changed in ways I never imagined. I'm no longer just watching from the sidelines I'm out living the life I always wanted.

One of my proudest moments was completing a four day hike through the mountains without getting winded. A challenge that once felt impossible became one of the most rewarding experiences of my life.

My everyday life has changed too. For work, I can now get into places that used to be difficult or impossible because of my size. I can enjoy a great meal without constantly worrying that I'll gain all the weight back because I've learned how to maintain a healthy balance instead of following restrictive diets.

One unexpected bonus has been getting my balance back. As my strength and confidence improved, so did my stability, which has made a huge difference in overcoming my fear of heights.

Losing weight gave me more than a healthier body it gave me freedom, confidence, and the chance to truly enjoy life again.

My Journey To Weight Loss!

Cory Worms

My weight loss journey began when I realized I was tired of always being out of breath and missing out on life. I had reached the point where I was over the weight limit for many activities, so instead of joining my friends and family, I often had to sit on the sidelines and watch them have fun. I wanted to be out there with them, but I couldn't.

Like many people, I tried cutting back on food and going to the gym. For a while, it seemed to work. I lost some weight, but as soon as I stopped, it all came back. It was discouraging, and I started to feel depressed because nothing seemed to last.

Then something changed. A friend of mine started his own weight loss journey, and I began seeing real results in him. Watching his success gave me hope that maybe I could do it too. I started asking him questions about what he was doing, and that was the moment I decided I had enough. I knew I needed to make a lasting change.

Instead of looking for another quick fix, I focused on learning. I wanted to understand food, nutrition, and why weight loss had been so difficult for me. I discovered that it's not just about the food you eat it's also about your relationship with food and the habits you've developed over the years. I realized that many of us are taught to eat until we're completely full or to reward ourselves with food after accomplishing something. Changing those patterns was just as important as changing what I put on my plate.

As I continued learning, I made some simple but meaningful changes. I reduced my intake of sugar, potatoes, bread, and sugary or carbonated drinks. The more I researched, the more I learned about the digestive system and how important it is to overall health and weight management. I came to believe that having a healthy digestive system is just as important if not more important than simply focusing on the food you eat.

I also made a commitment to move every day. My goal was to walk at least 10,000 steps, whether that meant walking outside on a beautiful day or doing laps inside the mall when the weather wasn't cooperating. This time, I promised myself I would stay consistent.

Looking back, I realize my journey wasn't just about losing weight. It was about changing my mindset, building healthier habits, and creating a lifestyle I could maintain. Every small step added up, and for the first time, I wasn't chasing a temporary solution I was building a healthier future!

My mission is to help other men take control of their health, lose the weight around their waist, and build a healthier lifestyle without spending countless hours researching everything on their own like I did. I want to simplify the process by sharing the knowledge, strategies, and mindset that helped me succeed, so they can avoid the frustration, confusion, and trial and error that often come with weight loss. My goal is to help men create lasting habits that not only help them lose their gut but also give them the confidence, energy, and freedom to enjoy life again!
